BOSTON & NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LaVoieHealthScience (LHS), an integrated investor and public relations consulting agency focused on advancing health and science innovations, today announced an updated team roster, expanding its integrated communications services including strategy consulting, business development and investor relations, corporate communications, and public relations.
Twenty-five-year veteran, Lisa DeScenza, who joined the firm in 2012 and has held a variety of agency roles with increasing responsibility, is now Vice President, Integrated Communications & Head, Business Development & Marketing. Lisa brings a passion for health- and science-driven clients with a combination of agency and client-side experience. Lisa DeScenza reports to Sharon Correia, Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer, who joined the firm in July 2016.
Sharon Choe, who joined the firm in early 2019, is now Senior Vice President & Head, Outreach & Corporate Access, a newly created position designed to utilize her deep relationships with buy- and sell-side investment communities for LaVoieHealthScience’s clients. As a former buy-side investor, Sharon has traded small, mid, and large cap healthcare equities and co-managed a global healthcare portfolio for institutional clients in NYC. Sharon reports to James Heins, Senior Vice President & Managing Director, NY Practice, who joined the firm in November 2020.
Barrett McGrath, a 35-year industry veteran, is Senior Business Development Advisor. Barrett joined the firm as an advisor to meet clients’ demands to identify licensing and corporate development partnership opportunities. Barrett brings deep experience in sales, marketing, alliance management, business, and product development to the firm and reports to Doug Russell, Senior Vice President, Client Services, PR/Media.
Elizabeth Aguiló has joined the firm as Talent Acquisition Consultant to provide full-cycle recruiting services to the team.
