The IMA Group Acquires Mollie Kallen Case Management to Expand National Footprint

Marks 4th acquisition in 2022; strengthens depth in Florida, Illinois, Michigan and Ohio

TARRYTOWN, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--#IMAGroup--The IMA Group announced today its acquisition of Mollie Kallen Case Management (MKCM), marking the company’s fourth acquisition this year. With the addition of MKCM to its portfolio, IMA further expands its national case management services in its rapidly growing Payer Services division. In addition to Orchard Medical Consulting, acquired in May of 2021, MKCM allows IMA to expand its offerings nationally, including the key states of Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan and Ohio.

Headquartered in Florida, MKCM has a national presence providing medical field and telephonic workers’ compensation case management, catastrophic case management, and a full menu of additional services such as life care plans, vocational case management and other critical services for the workers’ compensation industry.

“MKCM’s quality, reputation, and visibility in the field of case management are the factors that attracted us to the company,” said Mark Weinberger, Ph.D., MPH, President and CEO of The IMA Group. “Our goal is to continue to identify clinically focused companies that share our culture and vision. With this acquisition, we can continue to fulfill our mission of returning employees to work and productivity while we also focus on a culture of empathy and empowerment for both our customers and injured workers.”

MKCM’s services include a dedicated team of trained and experienced case managers who are supervised by a panel of industry experts. All case managers receive extensive training and have an average of 20-plus years in case management, making the team one of the most experienced in the industry.

“MKCM has experienced incredible growth, and we are now positioned to further extend our coverage and resources in the industry and to our customers by adding our extensive menu of services to the powerful and diverse portfolio of behavioral and medical evaluations and programs offered by The IMA Group,” said Mollie Kallen, President/CEO of MKCM, Inc. “IMA continues its mission to become the leading independent firm in the case management industry by providing highly personalized, client and employee focused and results-oriented services.”

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed by the privately held companies. MKCM’s leadership team will remain, and the company will continue to operate under its current name.
