2022 PM Society Digital Awards - Winners: Havas Lynx Group takes 2 Golds, Chiesi celebrates 3 wins!

The Digital Awards is in its 13th year and celebrates the best in digital communications within the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. Judges include experts from digital, creative and communications agencies, digital specialists, and marketers from industry as well as healthcare professionals.

This year, the event was held at The Brewery, live for the first time in 3 years, after two online awards events due to the pandemic. The host was Marcus Brigstocke and guests were treated to a retro computer exhibition provided by the Retro Computer Museum where attendees could try out games on the consols of their childhood including Nintendo’s, Sega’s and Atari’s.

Havas Lynx Group was the only agency to win two Golds. Chiesi was the top Pharma company with three wins, and Open Health Group was the agency with the most awards – a win plus 4 Silvers and 2 Bronze awards.  Mole Digital was the only agency to win the same award (Brand promotion) two years running.

Other winning agencies were 9Labs Inc, BBH, Initiative Health, LTF Digital, Makara Health and Actando, MedShr, PRECISIONeffect, Seven Stones / AMV BBDO, Syneos Health, VCCP Health and ZPB Associates.

In the People categories, the Agency Digital Team was won by Performance.io, the Digital Project or Account Manager by Jess Collins from Open Health and the Pharma Digital Partner by Steve Hunt from Chiesi UK.

Chair of the Digital Awards, Rachel Farrow, said,

“The PM Society Digital Awards have gone from strength to strength since they began 13 years ago and this year the event was sold out. One of the key themes for me was the breadth of winning agencies and client companies, with no agency winning more than two Golds. I’m also very proud of our judging process which is incredibly rigorous. At the second round, finalists are presenting to panels of judges and being put through their paces in a Q&A session, so I’m confident that our winners really are the best. It was also really good to see some new names among the winners – new agencies and smaller organisations alongside the big names.”
