MONTREAL--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mr. Patrick Charest, B. Sc., P. Eng., CEO of Aplantex, is pleased to announce the composition of the company’s C-suite. "Aplantex is the result of the innovative work of a multidisciplinary team of skilled individuals committed to simplifying and broadening access to the valuable plant-based bioactive molecules that daily impact our health and well-being," states Mr. Charest.

Mr. Mourad Sabri, Ph. D., Aplantex founder, and shareholder, is the company’s CSO. Mr. Sabri is the driving force in the development of the scientific breakthroughs that are the building blocks of the innovative production process of many high-value molecules.

Mr. André LeBlanc, Ph.D., is the company’s CTO. An expert in mass spectrometry, Mr. LeBlanc is recognized by the industry for his proven skills in the setup and management of high-end research and operational laboratories leading to the production of certified molecules.

Mrs. Patricia Houle, CMA, CPA, MBA, is the company’s CFO. Mrs. Houle has built an impressive track record of helping SMEs in various industries attain or surpass their strategic objectives through sound financial planning, execution, and recording.

Mr. Marc-André Ménard, C.A.A.P., is the company’s CMO. His comprehensive experience as director of marketing for major B2B and B2C brands and as a senior manager with national and international advertising agencies will be used to implant the company’s competitive positioning.

"I am proud and thrilled of working with such a qualified and dynamic team to complete the next steps of Aplantex’s strategic plan," concludes Mr. Charest.

The Aplantex scientific team has developed a unique process for the production of certified high-value molecules that enjoy strong demand from major players in many industries. The core of this green biotechnology process consists of the continuous production in a controlled environment of biomass originating from photosynthetic plant replicators. This abundant biomass is dried, and the extraction, fragmentation, and purification stages allow the separation of the specific molecules essential to the production of popular products in the health, beauty, and food & beverage industries.

The photosynthetic plant replicators can store up to 40% of their dry weight of atmospheric CO2 and, in Quebec, can be grown year-round in a controlled environment using sustainable hydroelectric power. With its eco-friendly process, Aplantex is thus a preferred supplier for any company looking to comply with ESG criteria.
