Elaine Connelly Appointed Account Manager for Scotland at Health Net Connections Ltd (HNC)
Health Net Connections Ltd (HNC), specialists in the distribution, implementation and maintenance of ultrasound imaging and reporting software to hospitals and private clinics, has appointed Elaine Connelly as Account Manager for Scotland.
Her appointment supports the organisation’s aim to deliver more efficient diagnostic ultrasound services and clinical assessments across NHS Scotland and private clinics nationwide.
Elaine joins HNC with a vast range of knowledge and experience in diagnostic healthcare and a proven track record of collaborative working across clinical, digital, management, procurement and private supplier teams.
She joins from University Hospital Wishaw, where she served as NHS Lanarkshire’s Diagnostic Service Manager with responsibility for Medical Laboratories, Radiology, Nuclear Medicine and Medical Illustration. Elaine brings extensive experience in diagnostic imaging, having previously held the role of RIS / PACS Manager, where she led the successful implementation of RIS and PACS systems, followed by the rollout of acute electronic radiology referral solutions across NHS Lanarkshire.
In her new role, Elaine will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare providers across Scotland, working closely with internal teams to ensure high levels of client satisfaction. She will also play a key role in identifying and developing new opportunities that deliver consistent, efficient ultrasound workflows with enhanced functionality, supporting improved patient outcomes.
A particular focus of Elaine’s role will be supporting women’s health and cardiology specialities across Scotland, with the aim of improving patient wellbeing through optimised digital ultrasound.
Commenting on her appointment, Elaine said:
“I’m really looking forward to working with Scottish clinical ultrasound and digital teams to support a transition towards fully integrated digital workflows that can be adapted to the specific needs of each hospital. Ultimately, this is about benefiting both clinical teams and patients.”
“In my first few months, my priority will be to gain a full understanding of the Viewpoint 6 ultrasound workflows across Women’s Health, Echocardiography and Point of Care. I’ll also be engaging with key stakeholders across Scotland to understand their current challenges and identify areas where Viewpoint 6 can support improved workflows, efficiencies and data management.”
