D2 Solutions Adds Real-Time Prior Authorization Text Message Updates for Patients

Critical addition to D2's UltraTouch Verify platform improves patient experience while reducing manual burden for pharmacies and hubs

The capability helps patients stay informed throughout the PA process while reducing the volume of manual inquiries pharmacies and patient support teams must manage.

 

Prior authorization delays remain a common barrier to therapy access, a challenge validated by the fact that 97% of practices report medically necessary care is delayed or denied due to these administrative hurdles. With physicians and their staff spending an average of 13 hours per week navigating these requests, patients are often left without visibility into the status of their prescriptions during critical waiting periods.
