The PM Society welcomes Caroline Benson of Cuttsy+Cuttsy and Colin Williams of GSK to the role of Chairs, succeeding Craig Bradley of Takeda who has been running the Society for three years.

For the first time, industry and agencies will be equally represented as the pair join forces to lead the PM Society into the new decade. The Chairs will oversee the Executive Committee as it rolls out training and development programmes, educational meetings and interest group activities, two annual awards events and a programme encouraging collaboration across individuals and companies with the purpose of giving something back.

Caroline runs Cuttsy+Cuttsy, a strategic healthcare communications agency that she set up in partnership with her brother in 2011. She won the IPA and Campaign magazine Women of Tomorrow 2018 Award, in 2019 the agency were in the top 20 of Campaign ‘Best Places to Work’. She has been the PM Society’s Patient Engagement Interest Group lead for the last two years and is a key part of the Society’s Executive Committee.

Colin has worked in pharma digital marketing for over 20 years. He has spent most of his career on the agency side and is currently in the Global team at GSK working as Product Lead. He is also a long-standing member of the PM Society Executive Committee, working on the Digital Awards since their inception and leading the Digital Interest Group.

The pair set out their intentions for their new role working together; “Having both worked in pharma for over 20 years, we are passionate about providing education and support to the industry and are delighted to have the opportunity to help the PM Society to continue to deliver this in 2020 and beyond. We are like-minded, supportive and collaborative people with similar work ethics and we will continually seek to challenge ourselves to ensure the PM Society is providing the best possible service to pharma companies and agencies alike.

The PM Society is a wonderful organisation with a long and rich history, and we want to make a positive difference in what it provides to the industry and how many people benefit from this. We are committed to giving back, and will champion diversity, resilience and mental health in everything we do with the Society. As interest group leads, we saw what can be achieved when like-minded individuals come together. If you want to actively help us shape the Society to ensure it evolves in the right way, please do get in touch with us!”
