Zur Rose and Migros open the first shop-in-shop pharmacy in French-speaking Switzerland

Zur Rose and Migros are continuing to roll out the shop-in-shop concept with a focus on western Switzerland. The entry into the market in the French-speaking part of the country is taking the form of a shop-in-shop pharmacy in the Migros supermarket in Crissier in Vaud. Other locations are being planned.

Following the successful pilot phase with three shop-in-shop pharmacies currently in Migros branches in Bern, Basel and Zurich, Zur Rose and Migros have decided to roll out the concept in French-speaking Switzerland. End of February 2020 will see the first shop-in-shop pharmacy in the western part of the country open in the Migros supermarket in Crissier in the canton of Vaud.

The shop-in-shop pharmacy in Crissier will also operate under the Zur Rose brand. Customers will enjoy skilled specialist advice and the attractive, permanently low prices Zur Rose offers by mail order: prescription drugs are on average 12 percent cheaper than in other pharmacies, over-the-counter drugs and healthcare products up to 40 percent cheaper.

Daily shopping at Migros can easily be combined with picking up pharmacy items, and cross-channel purchasing is also possible: products can be ordered online and collected from the pharmacy or delivered to the home. As with the other shop-in-shop pharmacies, customers will be able to collect Cumulus points for purchases at the shop-in-shop pharmacy in Crissier.
