The PCMG Annual Assembly goes Climate Positive thanks to Veramed and Earthly

Veramed, the CRO redefining intelligent healthcare decision-making through end-to-end biometrics, has sponsored PCMG to make this year’s Annual Assembly (Sept 7-9th) in Krakow the first ever Climate Positive pharmaceutical event.

Veramed will offset 110% of the event’s carbon footprint by investing in a range of environmental projects across Africa, South East Asia, and the UK using Earthly, an organisation that empowers companies to protect and regenerate the Earth through nature-based projects. The projects, which centre around the UN Sustainability Goals, will offset close to 80 tonnes of CO2e and have been carefully selected to cover a wide range of sustainability goals..

This move comes as part of PCMG and Veramed’s push to encourage more environmentally sustainable, transparent and ethical business practices across the pharmaceutical industry. Stuart McGuire will also be speaking alongside GSK and Earthly at the event to encourage sustainability and more ethical business practices within the pharmaceutical industry.

PCMG Annual Assembly brings together professionals from all corners of the pharmaceutical landscape, including biotech trial sponsors combined with counterparts from the broad landscape of suppliers. Located in Krakow this year and spread out over two days (7th-9th September), professionals share experiences in best practice and explore new ideas openly and objectively.
