Chiesi recognised as one of UK’s Best Workplaces for Women for four consecutive years

MANCHESTER, UK, 20th July 2023: Chiesi UK is proud to announce that once again, it has been named one of the UK’s Best Workplace for Women™ by Great Place to Work UK®. This marks the fourth consecutive year that Chiesi has received this prestigious recognition, reaffirming the company's commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive work environment, valuing the integral role of women in its workforce.

Heather McColl, Human Resources and Support Services Director said: “It is a great honour to be acknowledged as a 2023 UK Best Workplace™ for Women for the fourth year in a row. At Chiesi, we firmly believe that fostering a collaborative, diverse, and inclusive workforce is essential to our business success. We are dedicated to providing a supportive and empowering workplace that prioritises employee well-being, job satisfaction, and growth opportunities. Moving forward, we remain committed to enabling our female employees to thrive and reach their full potential at Chiesi UK."

Today’s recognition reflects the results of the company’s annual employee engagement survey, which found women across the organisation reported a consistently great workplace experience, considering factors such as their daily encounters of innovation, inclusivity, company values, and the effectiveness of the leadership team. The announcement solidifies Chiesi’s dedication to facilitating an environment where all employees can unlock their full potential.

Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place to Work® UK, said: “We’re delighted to announce our 2023 collection of the Best WorkplacesTM for Women for the sixth consecutive year. This list celebrates the workplaces that are not just providing a great work environment for all but are ensuring they’re creating a positive and supportive environment for women too. Each of the companies on our list have been commended by their own female employees who have anonymously told us their workplace has gone above and beyond to ensure that women employees are treated fairly in terms of recognition, training, and promotion opportunities. Ensuring people aren’t discriminated against, placing positive value on our differences, creating fair access and advancement for all, and fostering a sense of value and empowerment in employees is what being a Great Place to Work® is all about. It is fantastic to once again celebrate so many Best Workplaces™ for Women this year, across all sectors and organisational sizes.”
