Emma Hague appointed Chair of Make-A-Wish UK’s, The Constellation Collective

New philanthropic alliance aims to grant more wishes for children with critical illnesses across the UK. Make-A-Wish UK today announces the appointment of Emma Hague as Chair of The Constellation Collective, a new philanthropic initiative designed to bring together distinguished individuals committed to transforming the lives of children facing critical illnesses.

The Constellation Collective is a community of supporters mobilising resources to fund transformative wishes and provide critical support across five key medical pillars: childhood cancers, rare and genetic conditions, neurological disorders, urgent and palliative care, and heart, lung, and kidney conditions. The initiative seeks to raise £5 million over four years to directly benefit the Make-A-Wish UK Health Fund, enabling more children to experience the joy, hope, and resilience that wishes provide.

Emma Hague, an entrepreneur, investor, and long-standing supporter of philanthropy, said: “After years supporting charities, I’ve always wanted to be part of something where I could make a tangible difference - not just through giving, but by bringing together a community of people committed to creating change for children with critical illnesses. The Constellation Collective offers that opportunity, and I am honoured to chair this initiative and work with Make-A-Wish UK to create unforgettable experiences for children and families who need our support most.”

Make-A-Wish UK CEO, Jason Suckley, said: “We are honoured that Emma has joined us to head up The Constellation Collective. Make-A-Wish UK is currently facing an urgent challenge in that the need for wishes is far greater than our capacity to keep up with the demand. Our aim is to reach every child that is entitled to a wish as we know that wishes bring joy, happiness and hope to critically ill children at a time when they need it most.  We have high hopes for The Constellation Collective, and I know that with Emma at the helm, we will work alongside an extraordinary movement of people whose combined influence will reshape the future of critically ill children”.

The Constellation Collective provides supporters with opportunities to engage with the work of Make-A-Wish UK, witness the impact of their support, and be part of an extraordinary community dedicated to giving children facing critical illness the chance to create treasured memories.
